Charles de Gaulle/Roissy airport, where I have to spend a lot of time, has the triste distinction of being the worst place I know of for men invading the women's bathrooms. For some reason, almost every time you go into one, there are men standing there at the sink or coming out of the stalls. "Ne vous inquiétez pas!" they always say. "There's no soap in the men's room," or "There's no paper in the men's room," or "They're cleaning the men's room." Funny, the women don't seem forced by those same circumstances to march into the men's bathrooms. It bugs me and would scare a lot of women to have a strange man (and I do think these guys are strange) rattling at the door of their stall in a public bathroom.
The airport has a new symbol. I think it's cute.
