The mayor of Calais is suing Marine Le Pen of the Front National for saying "repeatedly" that citizens in Calais need a pass issued by the mayor to get to their own homes (because of the number of migrants in the town). In fact, the passes are issued by the police prefecture.

Margaret G. just called to say Debo's husband was killed in Iraq today. You may remember that their mother... died two years ago, and that Jim, their dad, has spent a horrific year, near death several times. Now this. Margaret says Debo will come back [here to live] with the children (she just had a baby, problematic delivery and hard pregnancy)....Jim's Christmas letter was just saying they were awaiting his safe return. That poor family.
