The mayor of Calais is suing Marine Le Pen of the Front National for saying "repeatedly" that citizens in Calais need a pass issued by the mayor to get to their own homes (because of the number of migrants in the town). In fact, the passes are issued by the police prefecture.

Sorry I haven't posted for the past few days. I was in the States for a family event.
Now I am back in Paris for one day and will be back again Wednesday 31 May. It's a pont this weekend: today, Thursday, is the Ascension holiday, and most people in France take the pont, or bridge, over Friday, to make a four-day weekend.
Fun fact: In German, Ascension is called Christi Himmelfahrt.
