I have been dealing with a major problem and it just has not been working out.
"Ne t'inquiète pas." Moments after Cécile heard my sad story, she was on the phone to a friend of hers. "Salut, c'est moi, t'es au volant? You're driving? Do you want me to call back?" En principe, it's illegal to use the phone while driving in France.
"Non, non," said the friend, driving with one hand with five people in the car. "Ça va. Go ahead. Je t'écoute?"
"Bon," said Cécile, and she launched into my story, in which I need the benevolence of a certain P. "J'ai une amie américaine, elle est vraiment a-do-ra-ble...."
"Ça tombe bien!" said her friend when she heard everything. "In fact, I am going in Monday morning, as it happens, to meet with P, for whom I am doing a big favor, justement. Tell your friend Sédu to send me a mail*. Je m'en occupe."
How could I forget that in France, tout fonctionne par relation?**

J'aimerais que l'on soit en contact (you have my email address) , I speak really good english too, of course ;)
Bisous! Charlotte
