Pretty much every day in Paris, you run across demonstrations, large and small. On a recent Sunday at Trocadero, above the Eiffel Tower, there were four separate demonstrations. First, above: Russians against fur farms.
Second: a Turk playing piano for freedom and democracy in Turkey
Third: Romanians ("real" Romanians) demonstrating against metal pollution and mining at Roșia Montană mine
Last: A Falun Gong demonstration against the Chinese government.
In America, it's easy to think you live on a separate planet from the rest of the world, which feels so very far away. You certainly can't do that here!
Hi, I didn't find how to contact you by email in your blog, so I'll leave a comment hoping you'll see it quickly... I am a French journalist working for Europe 1, and for my chronicle, I would like to make an interview with you about Paris. Please contact me by email, so that I can tell you more about that.
Thanks a lot !

Lovely photos. It truly is like a separate planet. I wish I could just drop everything and go there!
One day I tell you, one day!
P.S. That photo of the Eiffel Tower is amazing. That sky is just to die for, as well.
